Welcome to SIDEKICK KARATE, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of martial arts training in a safe and family-oriented environment for students of all ages. Our students learn to overcome their fears and weaknesses by gaining confidence through focused training. In addition, our students are encouraged to avoid or walk away from a physical confrontation, if possible, but defend themselves or others, if absolutely necessary. We encourage physical fitness and a sense of responsibility to motivate them to lead commendable lives in the community as leaders.

DRESS

All students must wear their school uniform complete with patches. All patches must be attached in the proper places All uniforms must be clean. If a student wishes not to wear their Gi top they are allowed to wear their black Sidekick Karate t-shirt. Other event t-shirts are not to be worn during class.

DROPPING OFF CHILDREN

Classes are to start on time so please try to have your child at the Dojo and ready before class starts. It is recommended that parents stay to watch their child's class, not required. If you need to leave your child during class please wait until class starts and return before class is over.

PAYMENT

Monthly tuition is to be drafted on the fifth day of each month. If an alternate method of payment has been agreed upon then that payment is due on the first of each month with a late fee of $10 after 7 days. There is a $25 charge on all returned checks and NSF draft returns. Agreements are for 12 months. There is a $200 early termination fee to end your agreement before the 12 months is over. After the student has been enrolled for 12 months the student will continue on a month to month basis. If the student decides to take time and returns to the school with in a 6 month period we will honor their old agreement price if tuition had gone up.

CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM

Student participating in the citizenship program will receive a patch, medal, t-shirt, and trophy over a period of 12 months. During the second year the student will not receive awards every three months like the first year, they will receive a new medium weight uniform complete with patches. After the third year they will receive a Heavy weight uniform complete with patches. Fourth year participants will receive a choice of $100 gift certificate for merchandise from Century or two hours with Sensei Taylor. Fifth year participants will receive their choice of 2 hours with Sensei Taylor or a heavy weight Tokaido uniform.
