Sensei Robert Taylor Sensei Robert Taylor began his training in Lexington NC under Randy Smith owner of Sidekick Mixed Martial arts in January 1992. He increased his training with Ricky Smith in China Grove NC. 0n September 18,1994 Robert was awarded his Black belt. On June 27,1995 he received his 2nd Degree. In August 1997 he was awarded his 3rd Degree and in January 2001 he achieved his 4th Degree Black Belt. Robert Taylor has had the opportunity to train with some of the greatest Martial Artists of this time such as, Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, Bob Wall, Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Jeff Smith, and Howard Jackson. He continues to train with highly recognized Instructors such as Hanshi Robert Bowles, Hanshi Steven Roensch, Kyoshi Ridgely Abele, Tachi Troy Price, and Tommy Hood.
