Comments : Just wanted to let you guys know how much karate classes have impacted Deven. This year is his first year in public school. In the past he has always been home-schooled.
Since he started public school in the second grade we knew there would be some adjustments, however the discipline and positive atmosphere has made the adjustment easy. Karate has provided structured which has increased his self- confidence and discipline while making it fun and educational.
His teachers are impressed with his positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
School has only been in session for 5 days and he has already been awarded 3 tokens for "positive behavior". 2 are for listening in class, paying attention , and following instructions. The last one was for helping a handicapped student.
